Gold Country
Food Hub
Connecting Local Farms, Local Communities, Local Markets.
We support regional farmers, strengthen local food access, and help communities buy fresh, local food through education, coordination, and partnerships.
What is a Food Hub?
A food hub is a regional connector.
Instead of storing and packing food, Gold Country Food Hub coordinates, supports, and strengthens the local food economy.
We:
-
Help regional farmers access markets and increase sales
-
Connect farms with families, schools, retailers, and community partners
-
Provide technical assistance, resources, and business support to local producers
-
Offer education, outreach, and community food access programs
-
Coordinate local food distribution through partner organizations and existing channels
-
Educate the public about local food systems
