More Than a Market. We Are a Movement.

From soil to supper, we bridge the gaps in our local food system.

Building the Local Food Highway

Through a $100,000 USDA Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure (RFSI) program grant, we purchased a commercial refrigerated box truck for locally produced food transportation. This "cold chain" infrastructure allows us to procure fresh, healthy produce from 65+ local, small-scale farms, ensuring quality and food safety in our deliveries to schools, food banks, and other institutional buyers. Thanks to private donors, we raised the additional $20,000 to fund the total cost of the truck!

Healthy Groceries For All

We believe nutritious food is a human right, not a luxury. This program provides locally sourced, seasonal, farm fresh produce, grains, meat, dairy and eggs to patients in low and no-cost health and wellness programs. As part of the Food Is Medicine movement, our Healthy Groceries program ensures patients with chronic medical conditions are receiving healthy food and education to benefit their personal wellness lifestyle.

Resources for Producers

Farming is more than just growing; it’s a complex business. Through our technical assistant partnership with the Southwest Regional Food Business Center, we received a $25,000 grant to develop an online Food Producer Resource Hub. We provide farm business needs assessments and combine this data with AI technology to provide technical assistance to local small-scale farmers. From educational and business development resources to navigating organic certification and FSMA food safety regulations, we help local growers build capacity, resiliency and economic viability.

Community Education

To change the food system, we must change how we think about food. Our outreach programs range from Farm-to-School experiences that connect students with growers, to screenings of regenerative agriculture films like "Kiss the Ground." We host workshops on soil health and food preservation, empowering our community to become active participants in the local food cycle.
