AZURE COMMUNITY DROP
Gold Country Food Hub serves as an Azure Standard Community Drop, providing a convenient local pickup location in Auburn, California for community members ordering organic and natural foods and lifestyle products through Azure Standard.

This free community service expands access to a wide selection of products for individuals and families who value healthy living, sustainable practices and greater choice in how they source food and everyday essentials.
HOW THE COMMUNITY DROP WORKS
Community members shop and place orders directly through Azure Standard's website, selecting the Gold Country Food Hub Community Drop in Auburn as their delivery location.

Azure Standard delivers orders twice monthly to our hub facility at 195 Elm Avenue in downtown Auburn, adjacent to The Farmers Marketplace grocery store.

Azure Standard communicates delivery dates, arrival times and any schedule changes directly to customers by email. Gold Country Food Hub also sends reminders with pickup dates, times and instructions.

On delivery days, customers meet the truck outside in the parking lot by the side entrance to collect their purchases. Customers are encouraged to arrive when the truck does and, when able, assist with unloading and distributing orders. This shared effort helps make the delivery process efficient and reflects the community spirit that makes the program possible.

Customers who are unable to pick up their orders at the scheduled delivery time may contact the Community Drop Coordinator in advance to make alternate arrangements.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Gold Country Food Hub is seeking a volunteer to serve as the Community Drop Coordinator for our Auburn location.
​
This role involves overseeing twice-monthly Azure Standard deliveries, communicating with customers and coordinating the unloading and pickup process. It's a great opportunity for someone who values organic and natural products, enjoys connecting with people and wants to support a valuable community resource.
